Kropf Industrial’s rubber-tired gantry lifts represent a valuable investment in improving the efficiency and safety of your operation, whether moving raw material in the yard, transporting work in progress, or loading trucks for shipping. These engineered lifts feature a high-strength, low alloy tube frame design. Ackerman steering with slew bearings provides a tight turning radius and dependable performance. All functions are controlled from a dashboard style control panel mounted in a gondola operator station that offers excellent visibility. Load gauges provide the operator with accurate weights of whatever is being lifted, ensuring safe limits are always maintained. Reliable Tier 3 or 4 diesel power is standard, coupled to high quality hydraulic pumps, cylinders, winches, and planetary drives. All machines come standard with a 2 year frame and hydraulic system warranty, or 2,000 hours, whichever comes first. Fixed position lifts are also available, which can be a very economical solution depending on your application.
INDUSTRIAL MOBILE LIFTS
Kropf Industrial’s extensive experience in building boat handling equipment has led naturally into building rubber tired gantry cranes and hydraulic trailers for non-marine applications. This has included straddle carriers for the bridge girder industry with two point lift and side-shift capabilities, self-propelled four-wheel steer movers for rail car plants and transformer manufacturers, and hydraulic trailers and self-propelled lifts for moving tanks over the highway or through uneven construction sites. We have also designed and built gantry cranes with custom lifting attachments to suit the exact requirements of our customers.
From our self-propelled trailer line, we have adapted our 90 degree steering and hydraulic frame lift to provide self-loading trailers that can handle the rugged landscape of a job site and provide a safe and economical way to move large pieces around. We have also adapted our trailers to be belt or cable reel winders with independent lift for side to side leveling and variable winding control for the mining and cable industries.
Our industrial equipment is rugged and durable, with robust construction and carefully sourced components to provide years of uninterrupted use. Diesel engines with hydrostatic drives, heavy-ply mining tires, and advanced paint systems are only some of the standard features available to ensure extended service life. With optional radio remote control, 4-wheel drive, or 4-wheel steering, we can custom design, engineer, and build an economical solution for your lifting needs.
